About

I am Melissa, a passionate instructional designer dedicated to crafting engaging learning experiences. With a Master's degree in Classics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015), I discovered my love for instructional design and its potential to merge my enthusiasm for teaching with my commitment to facilitating effective learning.

During my pursuit of a Master's degree in Library and Information Sciences (2019), I delved deeper into the realm of instructional design, expanding my expertise in key areas such as Instructional Design and Accessibility, Open Educational Resources (OER) and Creative Commons, as well as Promotion and Outreach. Building upon this foundation, I have honed my skills in developing informative and captivating e-learning content. Additionally, I specialize in employing facilitation techniques that foster learner engagement and active participation across diverse audiences.
